6 Months Old!

Hard to believe that little Amelia is already 6 months old!  Obviously thriving and enjoying life since, at her appointment last week, she was in the 105th percentile for height and 110th for weight.  Big girl!  She's nice and healthy and everything is going really well.

We've had another busy month with lots of fun.  Starting "people" food has been a blast!  So far her favourite seems to be green beans (obviously didn't get that from mommy) and she really enjoys apples too.  Daddy experienced his first explosive baby food event when she decided to shoot her apple all over the chair, table, herself and daddy.  It was pretty funny, but that's probably because mommy cleaned most of it up.

We had a wonderful visit with Kim, Luke and Clarisse out at the farm this past weekend.  Had tons of fun with all the animals and great friends.  We also got to Skype with Dave for a bit all the way from Rwanda, which was really great.  Thanks for the visit guys... we'll be back soon!

Of course, a couple of days ago was little Amelia's first Halloween, and she didn't disappoint.  Her pink bunny costume was a hit with everyone that saw her (obviously... just look at her!!).  Daddy was also shocked that she would let him hold her while dressed up as the Master Chief.  Such a brave little bunny!  Gramma, Grampa, Nana and Papa spent the evening at our place having fun and helping serve all of our Halloween visitors.  It was a really fun night for all of us!

Little Amelia is still advancing quickly and loves to pay close attention to everything she experiences.  She chatters and talks to us plenty now.  We have recently discovered that she LOVES the Jolly Jumper, so that has become the new babysitter while mommy and daddy have dinner together.

Coming up this weekend?  Hopefully a GO Train ride to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair!  Another new adventure just around the corner.
