Cousin Welcoming & Apple Picking

First of all, I would like to officially welcome Amelia's cousin Olivia Rose and say a big congratulations to Holly and Scott on her arrival!  We are all so happy for you!!

As a matter of tradition, we ventured out for a bit of apple picking yesterday.  Since it was little Amelia's first apple picking trip, we had to make a big adventure out of it.  So off to Chudleigh's we went.  Despite the sea of grown up people, tiny people and strollers, we had a fantastic time!  Fun with the animals in the petting zoo, strolling through the orchard collecting apples, a hay wagon ride and hearing everyone say how cute (and big) Amelia is.  The apples proved interesting and the animals were fun too, but the real big hit was the leaves on the apple trees.  Every time mommy picked an apple, Amelia would grab the leaves and hold on tight.

It's also quite clear that one of Amelia's favourite things is bath time.  She is happy and splashing around the whole time she is in her little tub.  Then, when it's time to come out, there is generally a small temper tantrum involved, but if it were up to her she would stay in there until she shrivelled up into a little raisin.  It's nothing a little play time won't fix though.

  2. I know I'm a little biased, but I agree that she's pretty darn cute! The goal is to do some applesauce, a couple of pies and a bit of food for Amelia. We have a Baby Bullet that we've been dying to use. Hope you, O and L are doing great! xo :)
