One Month Old

Hello everyone! Well, Amelia is now a month old (as of Sunday) and she is surprising us every day with how strong and alert she is. We have been to the Doctor for her "well baby" check-up and all is going perfectly. There is certainly no doubt about her eating habits. She gained 3 pounds in 3 weeks! She's now well over 10 pounds and she has the cheeks, legs and arms to prove it. She also still has her full head of hair. We have also officially moved up from all her newborn clothes and diapers to size 1, although she is still a little long/tall for some of it.

We've had a few fun and eventful days recently too. Last week a photographer came to the house to attempt to get some photos of her. I was impressed! I have some video footage of the photo shoot that is pretty entertaining so I'll get it posted here soon. This was Amelia's first time in a real dress... although it seemed to be more exciting for us than it was for her. We also ventured out to Cambridge for the wedding of a couple of friends on the weekend. Amelia did so well! She only started really crying once throughout the whole afternoon/evening. Unfortunately, it was just as the M.C. started saying Grace before the meal. All that activity can be pretty exhausting!
