Much Needed Update!

So many things to update you on. This is Mommy's first Blog post so hopefully she does as good as Daddy!!


In December we took Amelia to her first ever Santa Clause Parade, Grandma came with us.  Amelia loved everything except the fire engine and the truck horns.  It was a rainy and cool but we snuggled up and had a lovely time.  Amelia did fall asleep and didn't see Santa float after all.




Let the Christmas fun begin.  Amelia's first Christmas was so much fun, she was a great age to enjoy and explore everything.  We went and got her first Christmas tree which she seemed to really enjoy, however didn't get why it was so picky every time she touched it!

Amelia met Santa for the first time at Ryan's work party.  She wouldn't go to him but was happy to look at him and talk to him in Mommy's arms.  She would watch him & point every time he would pass by us.

This was Amelia's first of many Christmas presents and family dinners. This gift was from Aunt Charlotte & Uncle Brad.  She knew to pull off all the paper and was very excited to see the big box!!!  She tried to eat the paper & tape....but now     (2 1/2 months later) loves the musical octopus that was inside.




Christmas morning was so much fun.....the 3 of us opened gifts at home before going to Nana & Grumpy's house.  I'm not sure who had more fun, Amelia ripping into everything of Mommy & Daddy watching her.


After spending the day with Mommy's side of the family we spent boxing day with Daddy's side, more Christmas fun & food! What a wonderful season it was!  Amelia is so blessed to have such wonderful, loving family & friends!

 In January Amelia  started to scoot around and get into stuff.  She enjoys the playmat but is now starting to venture off of it.  At times this is proving to be tricky!

Amelia has had an amazing month of February so I will create a new post tomorrow about all she has done.  I also need to ask Daddy now to post video so that we can share more special or funny moments with you!
